On Friday the 21st of February 2014, in the Auditorium of Events of the University of Macedonia ( PAMAK, Egnatia 156 ) in Thessaloniki at 10:30PM will be held the conference about "Youth Unemployment: Improving the Present, Ensuring the Future.” The conference is organized by the office of the European Parliament in Greece, in collaboration with the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, supported by the University of Macedonia and the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

The executives of KEPA and KEPA-ANEM had an intense activity in Brussels during 20-24/01/2014. Specifically, KEPA and KEPA-ANEM participated in the 4th workshop of the SEE Platform project for the Social Innovation that was organized during the 20-22/01/2014. They had meetings with executives of the European Commission and Members of the European Parliament and representatives from other entities, while they also took part in the event that was organized by KEPA in cooperation with the European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN), in Greek Embassy of Belgium.

The European Commission published today the 2012/2013 Annual Report on European SMEs. The Report on European SMEs is prepared on a yearly basis. It provides an overview of the size, structure and importance of SMEs to the European economy and their contribution to growth and jobs, as emphasised in the Small Business Act and Europe 2020 strategy. Comparisons with important partner countries outside the EU and with the large enterprise sector are also included.
