Online machine translation service available for all TED notices

To increase transparency in public procurement opportunities, an online machine translation service will be available, free of charge, for all public procurement notices published in Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) from 15 January 2016. This service will be available from and to all 24 EU official languages. Automatic translations can be requested for any public procurement notice available in TED and will be made available shortly after the request is sent.

Good practices under EaSI funded projects - 3rd Commission report

The European Commission published its third monitoring report in which it gathers good practices of projects across Europe dealing with working conditions, employment, social affairs and inclusion. This monitoring is part of the EU's Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). These good practice examples can form a basis for policy recommendations, which may be useful to the policy-maker designing or implementing policy interventions in this area.

First call of the Urban Innovative Actions initiative launched

The Directorate-General Regional and Urban Policy is pleased to announce that the first call of the Urban Innovative Actions initiative will be launched on Tuesday 15th December. This call will be worth EUR 80 Mio in total and will be focused on Energy transition, Urban Poverty (with a focus on deprived urban neighborhoods), the inclusion of migrants and refugees and jobs & skills in the local economy.
